1962 Indo-China war: Soldiers who died in war honoured - NewsX

On the 50th anniversary of the war between India and China, defence minister AK Antony has announced that a national war memorial will be built at India Gate. He said that the group of ministers has cleared all outstanding issues on the matter and the armed forces will finally get their wish. Earlier today, the three service chiefs and the defence minister arrived at India Gate to pay homage to the martyrs of the 1962 war. Antony also reiterated that the armed forces were ready and prepared to defend the country through any eventuality.
