Kipyego, Wude win Delhi Half Marathon - NewsX

Kenya's Edwin Kipyego wins Delhi Half Marathon in men's elite category with a timing of one hour and 55 seconds. In Women's elite category, Yimer Wude of Ethiopia clocks one hour, 11 minutes and 10 seconds to win the Delhi Half Marathon. Around 32,000 people, including athletes and celebrities, came together once again for the sheer love of running as the eighth edition of the Delhi Half Marathon began with swarming crowds and amazing enthusiasm. Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu, cricketer S Sreesanth and business tycoon and ADAG chairman Anil Ambani lead a star-studded field of celebrities and a bevy of Bollywood beauties and models are participating too. Some of the world's top long distance runners will participate in the USD 210,000 event, which has world 800m record holder and Olympic champion David Rudisha as its brand ambassador.
