Arvind Kejriwal faces BJP men's ire in Varanasi

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal's campaign has sparked a political war in Varanasi which is likely to turn more violent as the polling day nears. While the party blamed the BJP for the 'attacks', the latter has accused Kejriwal supporters of provoking people.

On Friday morning, a few BJP workers interrupted Kejriwal's campaign in Company Bagh Park and raised slogans against him. Following the protest, Kejriwal skipped a visit to IIT-BHU to meet students and instead met them at party office in Shivaji Nagar. Earlier on Thursday night, AAP chief and his lieutenants, including Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, survived 'a tomato and stone attack' near Ravidas Gate in Lanka.
