Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Friday claimed that BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi asked for his help on Kashmir issue.

Geelani, who returned to Srinagar after his 3 weeks stay in Delhi, said that Narendra Modi had sent two representatives to him who belonged to the community of Kashmiri pandits.

Geelani said that they both wanted assurance of a compromise on Kashmir matter. Geelani did not expose the names of the emissaries sent by Modi but told about the incident while releasing the strike calendar.
