2G Scam case: A Raja moves HC for bail - NewsX

Former Telecom Minister A Raja has moved HC for bail in the 2G scam. He has been in the jail for over a year now. Former Telecom Secretary Siddharth Behura, an accused in the 2G spectrum allocation case, has been granted bail by the Supreme Court. Mr Behura was the Telecom Secretary during A Raja's tenure as Telecom Minister. He has been in jail since February last year. In December last year, the Delhi High court rejected Mr Behura's bail petition saying he could influence many crucial witnesses from the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) and could also tamper with evidence.
