Sachin's RS nomination faces criticism - NewsX

Even as the nomination of Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar to the Rajya Sabha is as good as through voices against it is also fast emerging. Senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde said and I quote,"Instead of nominating Sachin Tendulkar to the Rajya Sabha, the union government should confer Bharat Ratna award on him". Following suit was Shiv Sena's executive president Uddhav Thackeray, who cryptically said and I quote," Congress and Sachin know well what is going on between them".
