Tatra deal probe: CBI tightens nose around Ravi Rishi-NewsX

The CBI is widening its net in the Tatra deal probe. It will now question VRS Natarajan, the chief of Defence PSU BMEL for almost a decade. And Vectra Chief Ravi Rishi faces the possibility of arrest. He was questioned for the third time on Monday. After Vectra Chief Ravi Rishi, the CBI is now set to interrogate the CMD of Bharat Earth Movers Limited, a defence PSU, in the controversial Tatra truck deal. The agency has already obtained the necessary clearance from the govt to question BEML Chief VRS Natarajan. Natarajan has contradicted Army Chief VK Singh's claim that the Tatra trucks were found wanting in performance and were sold to army at an exorbitant price.
