Madras HC asks the Centre to explain CBI's RTI exemption

The Madras High Court has asked the Centre to explain within Three weeks its decision to exempt the CBI from the RTI act. The Cabinet removed the CBI from the RTI act last week claiming petitions were hampering ongoing investigations and threatened national security. But is the government really telling the truth on the issue.
