World Cup 2018: Neymar rolls around on floor after being ‘stamped on’ in Mexico clash… but Brazil star still mocked by fans for dramatic antics
NEYMAR may have starred in the 2-0 win against Mexico, but his play acting has once again caused outrage on social media.

Despite netting the opener in the last-16 tie as well as setting up Roberto Firmino in the dying stages, the 26-year-old's antics have angered fans across the globe.

For all of Neymar's talent, he still continues to hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Following a collision with the Porto ace Miguel Layun, the Paris Saint-Germain forward threw himself on the ground and proceeded to act as if he had been shot in the leg.

Needless to say, Twitter was less than impressed.

Former England international Alan Shearer was left fuming, he said: "FFS Neymar man. STOP IT. We are fed up of it."

While BT Sport commentator Ian Darke simply stated: "Neymar’s amateur dramatics are embarrassing."

And 1986 World Cup Golden Boot winner Gary Lineker tweeted: "Neymar has the lowest pain threshold of any player in World Cups since Opta stats began."

Ireland manager Martin O'Neill commented on ITV: "I wouldn’t like to see him after coming out the doctor’s surgery following a flu injection.

"He's a top quality player and a top quality actor."
