1. In the twenty-eighth stanza, Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna that death is not the reason for grief because the soul still exists after death in an unmanifest state.

2. The wordings of this verse are as follows;

|| Aayaktadini Bhutani Vyakta-Madhyani Bharata

Avyakta-Nidhananyeva Tatra Ka Paridevana ||

3. This verse can be roughly translated as;

O descendant of Bharata, all the created beings are unknown before their birth. They manifest between birth and death, and again go back to being unknown. So why and at what do you grieve?

4. The twenty-ninth stanza is as follows;

|| Ashcharyavat Pashyati Kashchidenam

Ashcharyavad Vadati Tathaiva Chanyaḥ

Ashcharyavach Chainam Anyah Shrinoti

Shrutvapyenam Veda Na Chaiva Kashchit ||

5. In this verse Lord Krishna is trying to say that;

Some see the soul as a wonder while others speak about it as a wonder, then there are those who hear of it as a wonder. But none of them understands the soul.
