Trump Mocks Critics: I Look Around And Say 'I'm In The White House And They're Not'

President Trump targeted his critics on Twitter Thursday.

President Trump on Thursday mocked his critics by suggesting they're not in a position to judge him.  He tweeted: "So great to watch & listen to all these people who write books & talk about my presidential campaign and so many others things related to winning, and how I should be doing 'IT.' As I take it all in, I then sit back, look around, & say 'gee, I'm in the White House, & they're not!'"  The tweet comes amid the release of two books discussing the dysfunction in his administration—former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's, "Let Me Finish," and former White House aid Chris Sims', "Team of Vipers."  Notably, the books address the chaos, in-fighting, and self-serving agendas among Trump's team members. According to Axios, Christie recalls the time former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner literally threw away a detailed plan of action for the then-president-elect, writing, "for their own selfish reasons, got rid of the guidance that would have made their candidate an immensely more effective president and would have saved him an awful lot of heartache, too."  Sims calls White House counselor Kellyanne Conway as "'a cartoon villain brought to life' and one of the biggest leakers in the White House," notes ABC News.
