White House "confident" U.S.-China trade deal will happen by March 1 deadline

White House economic adviser Kevin Hassett has expressed optimism over a possible trade agreement between the United States and China, saying he believes the two sides could even reach a deal by the March 1st deadline.
Speaking to CNN on Wednesday,... Hassett said he's "confident" an agreement will be reached,.. adding that talks are moving forward.
He pointed to the recent decline in China's economic growth,... and believes a new deal would be a "big potential gain" for China.
