A frog filmed in a sewer of Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia on the night of January 23 was observed making a loud "booping" noise during some heavy rains.
The frog apparently makes this sound to attract other frogs, and they only emerge during the rainy season in Indonesia, gathering in fields and watery areas.
One Padang resident, Endi, said a frog of this type has only a small population in the area and is difficult to find in the city of Padang
Endi added: "This frog going back and forth can appear and be found because it is very few in number and hard to find, the presence of this frog is marked with rain."
