The slimy serpent was seen coiled around the amphibian in the undergrowth of a back garden in Nakhon Si Thammarat, southern Thailand, on May 1.
Homeowner Surin Sitirit tried to use a stick to free the frog but the determined reptile clung on to its dinner.
Several minutes later the iridescent snake was seen with the creature in its mouth as it swallowed it whole.
