One for all and all for one was the famous war cry written by Alexandre Dumas for the three musketeers, not to mention Dartagnan. Thankfully Dumas was not writing a history of modern Indian politics. What in the world is going on. The prime minister of this country leads the executive branch of government, forms the cabinet, guides all legislation, the country's budget, reform agenda and governance. there was a time when mass media and social media did not exist, all you got to see and hear was your local candidate and voted for them or a party. That's the logic of the parliamentary system we photocopied from the british. But let's not kid ourselves that the congress in the past was not about Nehru or Indira or Rajiv. it very much was. But today we're seeing an all for none and none for all joke being played on all of us. Just on Saturday, Stalin to Kejriwal to the Abdullahs were lining up crooning over Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata. Today, KCR in Hyderabad who didn't show up for Didi's soiree began a yagna seeking divine blessing. You can easily determine why a politician seeks divine blessings before a major election. Chandrababu meanwhile is planning a Mamata-style rally in Amravati. The city's not even been built, but Naidu want to show he can be a future leader of india. stalin claims Tamil Nadu wants Rahul as pm, but if so, why is the DMK contesting seats and not handing them all over to the congress? Running the country is a serious job, it requires the serious consideration of voters, not the jod tod manipulation of our dubious netas after the vote is cast. If you're voting for Mamata in Bengal or JDS in Karnataka Or jagan Reddy in Andhra. Who are you actually voting for to become PM? What unites them, what do they stand for, what's their vision for India? So many grand photo ops are just leaving the people confused, when they should be giving us clear choices. Saving democracy and Modi has become the cloak of convenience to hide the truth of missing substance. If you cast your vote, you deserve to know what the vote is for and who it's for. Let's ask straight questions to seek clarity on this.
