Manabu Ōhashi (大橋学) Retrospective MAD

A retrospective of the career of legendary animator Manabu Ōhashi (大橋学), in honor of his 70th birthday. He is one of the most talented, versatile, and frankly brilliant animators to come out of Japan within the past several decades, and a great deal of his best work was done at Madhouse.

Note:
All sequences in this reel were confirmed by Ōhashi himself as being his work. Special thanks to my friend Ian Mertz for serving as a translator between me and Ōhashi.
