Trump Is Stopping Federal Funds For California Wildfires

President Donald Trump announced that he's ordered a halt to federal disaster relief for California’s wildfires, says Reuters. Trump made the announcement on Twitter after a day after western governors asked for more federal investment in fire prevention. He said that the funds will be halted unless Forest Management “get their act together.” When Trump took a tour of the wreckage of the Camp Fire in November, he blamed the fire on poor forest management. At the time, the California Professional Firefighters organization said Trump’s assertion was “dangerously wrong.”
