Ingredients;
For the Tokri
1 cup Flour
2 tbsp Oil
Carom seeds
Salt
Baking powder
Black Pepper, crushed
Oil for greasing
For the Filling
Green Mung Beans, boiled
1 Onion, finely chopped
1 Tomato, deseeded & chopped
1 Potato, boiled & chopped
Sweet Yogurt
Tamarind Chutney
Mint & Coriander Chutney
Pomegranate
Chaat Masala
Salt
Nylon Sev
Method of preparation:
For the Tokri
In a bowl, add flour, hot oil and mix well.
Add carom seeds, salt, baking powder, black pepper, give it a good stir and then add water.
Knead it into a dough, take a small portion and roll it thin.
Prick the dough with the help of a fork, place it on a bowl or a cupcake tin and grease it with oil.
Bake it at 160°C for 10-12 mins.
Once they're done baking, let them cool down.
For the Filling
In a bowl add green mung beans, onion, tomato, potato, yoghurt, tamarind chutney, mint & coriander chutney, pomegranate, give it a good toss.
Season the mixture with chaat masala, salt,
Assembling:
Take a tokri, fill it with the mixture and top it with pomegranate seeds, tamarind chutney and nylon sev.
