Nike Says It Will Make Cooler And Cheaper Sneakers

Nike CEO Mark Parker says the company will begin a new focus on "moderately priced" footwear. Parker also hinted that the cheaper models will be marketed to consumers more aggressively in 2019. According to Business Insider, the news comes amid Nike sales rising 10% and beating second quarter expectations. Most of Nike's newest shoes are sold above $100, including the especially popular ‘Air Max’ and ‘React’ platforms.
