LARA CONLEY is a UK based Singer - Songwriter and Bodhran player. Her solo album "Wild Water" was launched with a tour in Morrocco in 2017 with The Alchemist's Wardrobe and guest cellist Asha McCarthy. Lara has performed with The Deadeye Collective, Tribal Rhythms Orchestra, The Summertides, Assasins of Sound and Workshy Rabbit, and has collaborated with many artists in the studio including AudibleOne. Songs from her Wild Water album feature on Shimnix Films and Lara has featured in Acoustic Magazine, on Folk Radio and performed on BBC and local radio stations. Her songs have included charity commissions in support of gender equality and friendly beekeeping as well as being requested for celebrations and commemorations.
In 2018 Lara created her community music initiative 'Music in Action' and is currently working towards a CME certificated by Trinity College London in partnership with Wren Music.
Lara currently performs as a solo artist and is collaborating musicians in North Devon as a vocalist and percussionist. A new acoustic album is planned for release in 2019 featuring new material and unique arrangements of folk songs.
