WWW.KANNADATIMES.COM is an online magazine initiated by Music Director Chinmaya M.Rao (www.chinmayamrao.com) in June 2011. Within a year KANNADA TIMES magazine gained attention by lots of people throughout the world. It is a magazine working from rural Karnataka (Honagodu-a village of Sagar Taluk, Shimoga District). Now this is running as a part of KANNADA TIMES MEDIA WORLD (R) a Trust founded by Chinmaya M.Rao.

Rural to whole planet....
All the enterprising of KANNADA TIMES magazine are done right back in the woods. Its headquarters located in Honagodu. Generating jobs to the rural population through journalism is our tiny effort behind this. Introducing the brilliant community from villages to the world of literature is the good cause we are aiming for.
Predilection to misfortunes....
Plenty of ingenious writers have missed their opportunity to show their writing skills in prime magazines of the state. They are remaining a blossom in the wild. Offering an opportunity to such writers is the generous attitude of our online magazine www.kannadatimes.com.
Not design oriented.....its information oriented
Our online magazine www.kannadatimes.com does not impose any restriction to the number of words in any article. We do not intend to disfigure the beauty of an article by doing so. Both the writer and the reader can go to any depth of a matter. We assure the writers that KANNADA TIMES gives complete flexibility on the length and depth of the article. But for any reason we do not publish pessimistic news and articles, any anti-social subjects or any article which can hurt anyone's feelings. We never entertain writing gossips in our magazine.
