Richard Sawyer wants to run a horse-riding tourist venture in the outback and hires a wrangler to help out. Don Brodie brings his mentally impaired daughter with him but Sawyer thinks Amy will make the tourists feel uncomfortable. A snake bite separates father and daughter and a major search party is organised to find the lost girl. Sawyer finally locates the reticent girl but is soon in need of rescue himself after a fall from his horse causes serious injury.
