Horror crash at Macau Grand Prix

German driver Sophia Floersch, 17, was hospitalised with a fractured spine after her car flew off the track at the Macau Grand Prix on November 18. The teenager’s car, travelling at a speed of 276.2 km/h, went over the crash barriers and through the safety fencing, before crashing into a photographer's stand. Japanese driver Sho Tsuboi, two photographers and a track marshal were also injured in the crash.
