President Trump is facing criticism for canceling his US cemetery visit in France due to bad weather.

Winston Churchill's grandson has blasted President Trump for backing out of a visit to an important WWI battle site in France due to rain.
Nicholas Soames, who is also a member of the U.K. Parliament, tweeted Saturday: "They died with their face to the foe and that pathetic inadequate @realDonaldTrump couldn't even defy the weather to pay his respects to The Fallen #hesnotfittorepresenthisgreatcountry."
According to Bloomberg, the White House announced the change of plans in a statement, saying, "The President and First Lady's trip to [Aisne-Marne] American Cemetery and Memorial has been canceled due to scheduling and logistical difficulties caused by the weather."
Chief of Staff General John Kelly and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joe Dunford were chosen to lead the U.S. delegation instead to commemorate the site where around 1,800 American soldiers died.
Soames isn't the only one who has expressed his disapproval.
Former Obama aide Ben Rhodes also tweeted in response to the news: "I helped plan all of President Obama's trips for 8 years. There is always a rain option. Always."
