TV star guilty of illegal fishing
Angling celebrity Bob James had pleaded guilty to fishing in the closed season.
The co-star of hit TV series A Passion for Angling was caught by EA bailiffs on the River Wye last June, two days before the opening of the river season. Although he pleaded guilty in court, Bob remained defiant and sought to lay the blame on the angler he was fishing with at the time, angling journalist Steve Martin.
