Scottish patriot secretly imports original recipe Irn-Bru

This was the moment an ingenious Scottish Irn-Bru fan took extra measures to secure a, now banned, full-sugar version of the orange beverage yesterday (October 4).
In a protest against English chef Jamie Oliver and the sugar tax, Scottish native Charlie Allen imported eight cans of the original recipe soft drink totalling at a massive 270 grams of sugar.
Since the sugar tax was introduced, original Irn-Bru stock was discontinued and remaining cans have since become a precious commodity. Using Royal Mail, Allen duped the system and garnered some of the precious liquid.
Allen said: "Heritage to Scottish people is something that runs in our blood. The fact that my children or grandchildren won’t be able to drink the original Scottish recipe due to an uncultured chef is ridiculous."
She later added: "It should be a listed recipe much like a listed building. The sugar tax is nothing but a money grabbing scheme."
The value of Irn-Bru in Scotland is certainly not to be underestimated, being one of only a few countries in the world to have a soft beverage that outsells Coca-Cola.
