'Child's Play' Co-Creator Opts Out Of Reboot

According to Comic Book.com, Don Mancini, the original writer for the Child's Play franchise has chosen not to be involved in the original films upcoming reboot. Mancini continues to develop sequels to the franchise which is rumored to extend into an upcoming TV series. While classic horror movies frequently undergo remakes, this marks the first time a reboot has launched while sequels to the original continue to be developed. No word yet on when the reboot will hit theatres.
