The Circuit van Drenthe was in perfect condition as 220,000 race fans poured in for one of the highlights of the 1986 racing calendar - the Dutch TT. Although World Champion Freddie Spencer was unable to ride due to injury, all the rest of the main riders were there including 500 cc title leader Eddie Lawson (Marlboro Yamaha). The cameras brilliantly capture the action as the bikes are cranked to the limit through the De Strubbon left-hander defying the natural restrictions of tyre adhesion. And the flat-out slipstreaming indulged on the short straights is also vividly depicted. The 250cc race again showed the closeness of affairs between Honda and Yamaha, with the dashing Venezuelan Carlos Lavado. We're on INSTAGRAM: http://bit.ly/2evtvsg
