Cyclist killed in central London named as Queen's doctor Peter Fisher

The cyclist that died after being hit by a lorry on a road in central London has been named as the Queen's doctor.

Dr Peter Fisher was involved in a collision in High Holborn at about 9.30am local time on Wednesday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Dr Fisher, who was 67, worked as the Queen's physician for more than 35 years.
