Progetto skunky folky beatbox post sbronz blues nato come one man band ed evoluto naturalmente come 'collettivo' di musicisti indipendenti.
Musica bastarda, originale, scritta sotto l'influsso di una luna dipinta nel blues.
Cris (voce/chitarra) inizia la sua gavetta tra Castelfranco Veneto e Bologna dove viene a contatto con diverse realtà artistiche e musicali.
Tra anaillogicità ed elettronica inizia a sperimentare e registrare le prime canzoni DoItYourself suonando in vari locali felsinei collaborando con diversi musicisti provenienti da tutto il paese.
Tornato al nord registra il suo primo ep holdeniano-casalingo, "GreenSkinBlueBones" e incontra Spa [chitarra] tra nebbie e quercie estive, con il quale inizia a improntare i primi live in duo.
Il progetto prende forma con Cippo [beatbox], conosciuto tra le foreste padovane, e il trio suona sempre più spesso in locali e realtà diverse. A fine 2015 si aggiunge in pianta semi stabile Alessandro Bruno Brunetta, giovane sassofonista/organista il quale vanta diverse collaborazioni artistiche ed esperienze studio/live. Attualmente collaboriamo con diverse realtà artstiche tra cui il progetto Cobrainals, danzatrici del ventre 'inusuali'.
HD Holden was born after a long studio room isolation, many sound trials, and several songs recorded and shared to some friends. In 2007 I found me and myself in Bologna where I got the chance to start playing gigs as a solo or with other musicians and sides projects. Experiencing the electronic side of music and getting recording skills. Back in town in 2011 I start collaborating with local bands as guitar or vocal. In 2013 I shared my first HD Holden ep "Green Skin Blue Bones", available on bandcamp.
I invited to join the project Spa on guitars, Cippo on beatbox.
We started play several shows from Castelfranco Veneto, to Padova, Trento, Venice. Later on our's and Bruno's fates join each other and we hit the road for a mini tour through Austria and Slovenia. We are recording a brand new album "Eden Mot.Hell" and open a collaboration with the unusual belly dancers tribe Cobrainals. We used to play in our room, under old big oak-acacias, on the beaches, through the mountains, near the bonfires, in pubs, stages, near home, outside the boarder.
We used to play in front of few people, a lot of people, some or none, known and unknowned. We used to play to enjoy and celebrate the freedom of expression in musical terms. We used to play beacause it's our passion, our attitude, our mission..and our job.
