There's something about denim brands that makes them a point of pride for their respective countries. In following with this idea, we turn our attention to Joakim Levin -- co-founder and chairman of Nudie Jeans. After brief stints in the music industry and with a secondhand shop, Levin rather confidently made the leap into clothing design to "pay the rent." That same confidence, in both country and product, is the single most striking thing about Levin's Essentials.
