Two Koreas exchange documents at Panmunjom in preparation for family reunions

The two Koreas have exchanged documents at the border village of Panmunjom today that confirm which family members are alive or not on each side of the border.
This comes as Seoul and Pyongyang are preparing for the reunions of families separated by the Korean War... scheduled to take place for a week in mid-August.
The two sides are narrowing down the candidates before exchanging the final list early next month.
Seoul's unification ministry says that the exchange went as planned, and North Korea made no extra demands.
There have been concerns over the family reunions... as North Korea's propaganda websites had hinted that the family reunions could be in jeopardy if Seoul doesn't return the North Korean restaurant workers that defected to the South in 2016.
