Two Koreas to exchange documents at Panmunjom in preparation for family reunions
  • 6 years ago
The two Koreas will exchange documents at the border village of Panmunjom on Wednesday that confirm which family members are alive or not on each side of the border.
This comes as Seoul and Pyongyang are preparing for the reunions of families separated by the Korean War... scheduled to take place for a week in mid-August.
The two sides are narrowing down the candidates.
They're to exchange the final list early next month.
However,... there are still fears the North could throw a spanner in the works.
This is because North Korea's propaganda websites have urged South Korea to return the North Korean restaurant workers that defected to the South in 2016,... or the family reunions may be in jeopardy.
