Similar to the latest Tata cars, the upcoming 5-seater SUV is expected to carry an aggressive price tag. The concept model, showcased at the Auto Expo 2018, was measured around 4.5 meters in length. This shows that the new SUV will be positioned against the likes of Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson. We believe that the new model could carry a price tag of around Rs 12 lakh and Rs 18 lakh.



Tata Harrier Launch Date
Tata Motors has officially released the design sketches of the upcoming H5X concept based SUV – Harrier. It is expected that the production-spec model will make its global debut in November 2018. The company has confirmed that the launch of the Harrier SUV will take place in the first quarter of 2019.

Initially, the Harrier will come with diesel powertrain only. The engine details are still under the wraps; however, reports suggest that the SUV could use the Fiat’s efficient 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine that also powers the Jeep Compass. This engine offers two states of tunes – 148bhp with 350Nm and 170bhp with 350Nm. The 5-seater model is likely to receive the 148bhp version, while the 170bhp state of tune is expected to be offered on the top-spec H7X 7-seater model.
