A human-caused fire that has burned more than 300 acres near Basalt, Colorado, forced several evacuations on July 4.The fire, which has been dubbed the Lake Christine Fire, was zero per cent contained by July 4.The Carbondale and Rural Fire Protection District issued evacuations for homes along Original Road, Silverado Drive, Hillcrest Drive, Homestead Trailer Park, the Wilds (Promontory and Wildsprings) Ridge Road, Pinion and Cedar Drive and the Pineridge area, according to NBC 9 News.The Aspen Daily News reported that power outages are expected for the area while firefighters work to contain the fire.The fire started after people shot tracer rounds during a Stage 2 fire ban, according to NBC 9 News.
