Journalist Injured After Being Hit With Gas Canister, Palestinian Sources Say

A Palestinian journalist was reported to have been injured while covering clashes near the Israeli border with Khan Younis in southern Gaza, on June 8.Ismail Abu Omar, who is said to be a reporter with Radio Al-Aqsa, was reported to have been hit in the back with a gas canister, according to a number of Palestinian news sources.This footage is said to show Abu Omar as he is being treated for his wounds while wearing a protective vest with the word “Press” printed on it.
