Shocking Footage Shows Police Officer Running A Red Light

Dashcam footage shows the BMW 5-Series police car fail to stop at the pedestrian crossing, despite the light being on red as it approaches the crossing. The police car begins to slow but still cruises through the traffic stop while the woman with the buggy begins to cross the road. The cop car doesn't appear to have its siren or lights on during the incident which happened in Preston, Lancs., around 2.15pm on Wednesday. Lancashire Police confirmed they had launched an investigation into the officer's behaviour. A spokesman for the force said: "We were made aware this morning (September 15) of the footage in question and our Professional Standards Department has now begun enquiries.
