Disabled boy and lame dog help each other learn how to walk

Doctors feared little Tommy Jones, eight, would never be able to walk, after a birth complications left him with semi-paralysed.
So when his parents Kerry and Mike Jones heard about a Chihuahua puppy who had a badly broken leg, they decided that nurturing the little pup – named Bobo – may help their son deal with his own infirmity.
Tommy, who was five at the time, and Bobo soon became best of friends, and miraculously, within weeks of meeting, they both started walking.
Full-time carer Kerry, 40, said: “We got Bobo because Tommy was struggling to understand why he wasn’t like other children.
