White House Is Still 'Actively' Preparing For North Korea Summit

The White House announced that it "continues to actively prepare" for a summit with North Korea. A top North Korean official is traveling to New York for talks aimed at reviving plans for a meeting. North Korean official Kim Yong Chol will meet with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo later this week. On Tuesday, Trump tweeted, "Meetings are currently taking place concerning Summit." Last week Trump abruptly canceled the scheduled meeting with Kim Jong Un.
