Storm Leaves Frederick Streets Submerged Under Water

Severe rainfall in Frederick, Maryland, left most roadways and residential areas partially submerged under water on May 16 following a severe storm which lashed the US Northeast, leaving at least five people dead.Residents in Frederick, Maryland, were told to limit water use as the city’s wastewater treatment plant is inundated and at risk of additional overflow.Residents were asked to refrain from non-essential water use such as washing dishes and clothes.The Maryland Department of Transportation warned residents on May 17 to be cautious while driving as heavy rainfall continued throughout the area.This video contains several clips of submerged streets in Frederick, Maryland.
