Forming the entry point to Aston’s range, the new Vantage replaces the previous-generation V8 Vantage, which had been in production since 2005. It’s built on the same aluminium platform as the new DB11, however around 70% of its components are unique to the Vantage. Aston Martin offers a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine. It’s combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The new Aston Martin Vantage is also the car manufacturer’s first model to use an electronic rear differential (EDiff). Inside, a central eight-inch LCD screen includes navigation and iPhone integration, and parking distance display as standard. The first cars are expected to be delivered during the second quarter of 2018.
