This is the moment divers stumbled across an extremely inquisitive whale shark.
The footage, filmed on April 4 2017, shows divers come face-to-face with a 19-foot whale shark at Delsan Wreck in South Atoll, Philippines.
"It was super inquisitive, it stopped dead in its tracks to check us out and circled me twice while I filmed," says filmer Richard Stevens, a regular diver who runs Black Manta Photography from his base in Orpington, on the outskirts of south-east London.
"You can see the scale of this majestic creature with the scuba divers close by - as a rough guess I'd say this was around 6-7 metres in length so still plenty to go. You'll also notice the chunk missing from the tail - we presume this may have been caught by one of the tiger sharks patrolling the area, although who knows?"
