Magome juku (Magome shijuku) is the 43th lodging place of Nakasendo (Nakasen Road 69th), the southern lodging town of Kiso 11 Inn. Once belonged to Yamaguchi village in Kiso gun, Nagano prefecture, it was transferred to Nakatsugawa city, Gifu prefecture by Yoshiguchi village Yoshiguchi village in February 2005 merger. Due to the fire in 1895 (Meiji 28) and 1915 (Taisho 4 years), all the old townscapes disappeared except for cobblestones and Masui, but it was restored and became the current figure afterwards. Many tourists visit in the post office along the cobblestone slope. The souvenir shop runs on both sides of the stone pavement, even in the general house where it does not trade, we preserve the historical landscape and the present life together, such as putting the name of the time in addition to the nameplate. There is a Fujimura Memorial Hall (Shimazaki Fujimura birth site) that was former Honjin at almost the middle point.
