Now to the closing market figures.
Wall Street finished lower on Wednesday amid rising U.S.-Russia tensions after President Trump warned of a U.S. strike on Syria.
The Dow Jones closed down nearly 219 points, or nearly one-percent at 24,189,... after popping up nearly 430 points the day before.
And the S&P 500, too, lost half-a-percent at 2,642 and the Nasdaq, shedding little less than that, zero-point-3 percent to finish 7,069.
Shares in Korea were mixed though,... the main bourse closed lower over concerns on strained trade ties between the U.S. and China,... closing down zero-point-3 percent at 2,444.
The junior index KOSDAQ, however, was up nearly one-percent at 885.
