Simon Stilwell took over as chief executive in August of this year.
He tells Proactive: ''I was looking for a bigger challenge … I was still drawn to investment research having worked in the City for 20 years, that was what I knew a lot about''.
''Vitesse had some issues but with a little more investigation and alongside a colleague we went to the board and proposed a refinancing and part of those discussions really become revolved around me taking over the business, raising more money and trying to solve some of the problems they had''.
