Senators To Force Vote On U.S. Role In Yemen

A bipartisan group of senators are seeking to force a vote on a war powers resolution for Yemen. It's an attempt to reign in what they say are unchecked presidential powers. They want to extract the U.S. from what's become a bloody civil war and humanitarian crisis. The measure would force the immediate withdrawal of the U.S. military from Yemen. The Trump administration and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell are actively working against it.
