Trump Administration Changes Its Mind On Elephant Trophies

US Fish and Wildlife Service rescinded the ban on importing of the hunting trophies.
Now says it will permit them to be imported on a “case-by-case basis.”
November 2017 the Trump administration initially considered walking back the ban.
Trump himself called elephant hunting trophies a "horror show."
No word on what prompted US Fish and Wildlife to change its mind.
President Trump has not commented on the change of policy.
