Anthony Scaramucci, who briefly served as the White House communications director, recently revealed that he's banned from the White House but still advises President Trump via phone.
Politico reported on Sunday that, according to current advisers, Scaramucci is among the past White House and campaign employees that Trump has been in touch with.  It also writes that those on the receiving end of the call "describe being immediately bombarded with questions about everything from gun control to his recent speeches. While Trump rarely gives a clear indication about what he's thinking, the regular surveys of his friends and allies often deeply influence him, according to friends." The revelation about not being able to set foot on the property of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue without "special approval" was originally reported by Bloomberg on Friday and later confirmed by CNN.  Notably, Scaramucci still makes fairly regular appearances on news and talk shows and often uses the air time to take swipes at White House Chief Of Staff John Kelly, the man who fired him.  "Pence is way more indispensable than chief of staff Kelly," Scaramucci said in a recent interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News.
