Proving it's possible to make a winning comeback after injury,... golf star Michelle Wie clinched her first title in four years on Sunday at the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore.
The 28-year old Korean American, often referred to as the "female Tiger Woods" holed a 40-footer on the 18th to win by a stroke.
Michelle Wie finished one shot clear of South Korean Jenny Shin, Nelly Korda, Danielle Kang and Brooke Henderson.
She had been waiting for this moment since the 2014 U.S. Women's Open,... having struggled through a number of health and injury setbacks,... including two months out with a finger injury, bursitis, a neck complaint and an emergency operation to remove her appendix.
The victory brings her LPGA title haul to five.
