This video is an adaptation of the story, Tenders for Henry, the 1st chapter of the twenty-third book of the Railway Series, Enterprising Engines, which was first published in 1968 and written by the Rev. W. Awdry. Narrated by Willie Rushton.\r

The 1960s, a dark and grim period for steam locomotives: and Gordon the Big Engine knows this all too well. The Fat Controller tells him a grim f that all but one of his brothers, the A1s and A3 4-6-2 Pacific class steam locomotives, have all been scrapped. The poor engine feels distraught knowing he had lost a large portion of his family, but can one engine come all the way to Sodor and show him all hope is not lost? \r

After almost 2 weeks in development, hopefully, it will have been worth the wait, and just in time to celebrate the return of The Worlds Most Famous Steam Engine, Flying Scotsman, this year after a long, excruciating overhaul. \r
